Sweet Radish is proud to partner with TIRRC
The Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition has been an integral part of Sweet Radish by identifying families who would benefit greatly from a CSA share, and by providing a point of contact and a drop off location for the vegetable boxes.
TIRRC is a statewide, immigrant, and refugee-led collaboration. Their mission is to build power, amplify their voices, and organize communities to advocate for their rights. Their vision is a stronger, more inclusive Tennessee where people of all nationalities, immigration statuses, and racial identities can belong and thrive. Since its founding in 2003, TIRRC has grown from an informal network of community leaders into one of the most diverse and effective coalitions of its kind, a model for immigrant rights organizations in the Southeast and throughout the United States.
TIRRC is nationally recognized for its multiethnic, multigenerational coalition building, effective legislative advocacy, and award-winning communications initiatives. They organize both individual immigrants and refugees, as well as organizations that serve immigrant and refugee communities.
