  • Tera Ashley

    Tera Ashley - Founder/Board Chair

    Tera began her farming career as an AmeriCorps*Vista Member, serving for over two years as an organic, urban farmer for Trevecca Nazarene University’s J.V. Morsch Center for Social Justice. She apprenticed at Caney Fork Farms in 2016 and 2017 before going on to manage vegetable operations across Middle TN, including her own operation, Magpie Farm. She is currently the vegetable manager at Caney Fork Farms and serves on the board of the Tennessee Organic Growers Association (TOGA). She is earning her M.S. in Sustainability from Lipscomb University. Tera is dedicated to discovering solutions for the gaps in our food systems and is excited about what Sweet Radish will accomplish.

  • Arturo Salomon - Vice Chair

    Originally from Veracruz, Mexico, Arturo moved to Tennessee in 2007, working 2 jobs to pay for college and support his parents. He was the first member of his family to graduate from college, earning a Criminal Justice Administration Degree. Encouraged by a passion for justice and love for his immigrant community, Arturo joined TIRRC's Youth Group (JUMP) with the dream of learning new skills and fighting alongside youth leaders in Tennessee and across the country. In 2017, Arturo became a Board member of TIRRC and in 2021, Arturo joined TIRRC as the Operations Coordinator, starting a new chapter in his life. Arturo manages the facilities and day-to-day operations of TIRRC’s headquarters, providing a welcoming environment for staff and community members.

  • Natalie Ashker Seevers - Secretary

    Natalie Ashker Seevers is a producer of multimedia content and the Executive Director of the Tennessee Local Food Summit, a nonprofit organization that advocates for a local food economy for Middle Tennessee. Natalie has seven years of experience working for small farms as a CSA and Marketing Manager, and is dedicated to utilizing her skills to create positive change in her community and the world. She is happiest in the garden with her family.

  • Ryan Arnett - Treasurer

    Ryan Arnett lives in South Nashville with his wife, Deirdre, and their three children. A Nashville resident since 2002, Ryan considers this city to be his forever home and has spent the last 15 years cultivating community through his work with affordable rental housing, community gardens, volunteering in the local elementary school, and serving in other community development roles. Ryan believes that to love your neighbor you must love where you live. He has a gift and a passion for connecting people to places where they can thrive.
